Hi – I’m Lela Cocoros, and I live in Denver, Colorado. Building from extensive experience in corporate communications and professional leadership in the cable/broadband/media industry, I co-founded October Strategies (www.octoberstrategies.com) in 2000 to help clients achieve their business objectives through highly creative and effective public, media, industry, client/affiliate, internal and community communications. Before OS, I worked at Tele-Communications, Inc./AT&T Broadband, NBC and the Cabletelevision Advertising Bureau (CAB). I’m a film scholar, news and information junkie and tacky vintage post card collector. I serve on the board of Freedom Service Dogs (www.freedomservicedogs.org) and on the honorary chairs committee of Cable Positive (www.cablepositive.org). I’m also an ardent supporter of the Alzheimers Association (www.alz.org). I graduated from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts with a degree in Film and Television.
